Online Purchases
We want you to love your Yu Mei Bag. If it's not quite right, full priced items in original condition purchased on yumeibrand.com between 25 November and 24 December 2025 may be returned for a refund with Yu Mei until Sunday January 18 2026.
Lounge Purchases
Items purchased through the Yu Mei Lounges in Wellington or Newmarket may be returned until Sunday January 18 2026 for an exchange or Yu Mei credit. In-store purchases are not eligible for refunds.
Care products, custom embossed items and discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.
Purchases that are accepted for a refund must be refunded to the original payment method, so if you were gifted a piece that isn’t quite right, we would be happy to chat through options with you via email or in person, at one of our Lounges.
We offer free returns for online purchases within New Zealand. Simply return to one of our Yu Mei Lounges, or contact us via contact@yumeibrand.com and we can arrange for your return to be posted back to us.
If you are outside of New Zealand you may return your purchase to us, however the return postage is your responsibility. We highly recommend using a traceable shipping method as Yu Mei does not accept responsibility for any lost returns, and for international purchases Yu Mei will not refund any costs associated with Customs or Duties. Returns will be processed between 5-7 days after arriving back to our warehouse. Refunds will be processed via your original payment method less any shipping costs incurred by us.
Returned items must not have been worn, altered or washed and must have all original tags and packaging intact. Your return must be accompanied by proof of purchase.
Yu Mei reserves the right to decline any returns.
