Returns
We want you to love your Yu Mei piece. If it is not quite right, here is how returns work.
Online purchases, full price
Full priced pieces purchased on yumeibrand.com may be returned for a refund within 21 days of receipt for New Zealand orders, and 30 days for international orders. Returned pieces must be unworn, unaltered and unwashed, and returned complete with their original swing tags, dust bag and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Returns within New Zealand
Returns are complimentary. Bring your piece to a Yu Mei Lounge, or email contact@yumeibrand.com and we will arrange the return post for you.
International returns
You are welcome to return your purchase, with return postage at your cost. We recommend a traceable shipping method, as Yu Mei cannot accept responsibility for lost returns. Customs and duties costs are non-refundable.
Lounge purchases
Pieces purchased in our Wellington or Newmarket Lounges may be returned within 21 days for an exchange or Yu Mei credit. In-store purchases are not eligible for refunds.
Final sale
Care products, custom embossed pieces and discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded. Archive Sale purchases are also final sale, sold as-is and without Yu Mei packaging.
Refunds
Refunds are processed within 5 to 7 days of your piece arriving back at our warehouse, to the original payment method, less any shipping costs we incur.
Gifted a piece?
Refunds must go to the original payment method, so if a gift is not quite right, email us or visit a Lounge and we will talk through your options.
Yu Mei reserves the right to decline returns that do not meet these conditions.
