Due to the natural characteristic of richly dyed suede, some colour transfer may occur, particularly when new or when exposed to moisture or friction. We recommend taking care when wearing with light-coloured clothing and avoiding prolonged contact with pale surfaces, as dye transfer can occur. This is a natural characteristic of richly dyed suede and will reduce over time with wear.

Suede is a delicate, porous leather that needs extra attention. Treat with Yu Mei’s suede-specific protector spray before first use, and regularly thereafter, to help prevent watermarks and stains. If it gets wet, let it dry naturally—away from heat and sunlight—then gently brush the nap with a suede brush or soft toothbrush.

It’s normal for suede to shed some fibres with use. A lint roller or tape can help remove excess fibres. Always avoid placing your suede bag on rough surfaces.
