The role
The Inventory & Accounts Coordinator sits where stock and numbers meet. You keep our inventory accurate and moving, and you keep the day-to-day accounting in order, across every sales channel.
On the inventory side, you maintain the accuracy of our systems, oversee stock allocation across channels and locations, and manage dispatch. You are the person who knows where every unit is and why.
On the accounts side, you support the Finance and Operations Manager by running payables, receivables and bank reconciliations, and working through the month-end close.
What you will be doing
- Overseeing inventory accuracy and stock allocation across channels, with regular stocktakes in the Wellington studio and oversight of stocktaking elsewhere
- Working with our 3PL and external warehouse partners on inventory and logistics queries
- Analysing stock on hand and reporting
- Bringing new product to market in Cin7 and on partner platforms, including Airpoints Store and Farfetch
- Running accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, and staff expenses
- Supporting month-end close, inventory and COGS schedules, GST returns and year-end reconciliations
- Improving and documenting how we work, and finding the manual tasks across Cin7, Xero, Shopify and Excel that could be simplified
What you will bring
- One to three years in a similar accounts, finance or inventory role preferred
- Experience with Cin7, Xero, Shopify, Excel, Google Suite or Gorgias is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
- The organisation to manage competing deadlines, and the confidence to raise issues early
- A methodical, self-directed way of working, and comfort moving between the studio floor and the general ledger
