We’re currently seeking Retail Assistants to join our retail team in our Wellington and Newmarket Lounges.

What we're looking for

Being a part of the Yu Mei team means being a part of a small, purpose driven and community-oriented organisation that is expected to punch above its weight. A high degree of internal and external collaboration is expected of our team, as is the ability to adapt and change as we innovate and navigate the fashion industry.

One year of experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Key responsibilities

  • Delivering exceptional brand and product experiences through memorable, personalised service.
  • Responding to customer queries across all communication channels promptly and efficiently.
  • Completing administrative tasks accurately and on time.
  • Contributing to a high-productivity environment with strong employee satisfaction, supporting team morale, and promoting an inclusive, supportive culture.
  • Precise inventory management and operational performance.
  • Ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction, driving brand loyalty and repeat business.
  • Cultivating and engaging with Yu Mei's community and guests, assisting with hosting events as required.
  • Involvement in marketing initiatives at Yu Mei, including social media and community engagement.
  • Maintaining location security at all times and addressing maintenance issues at retail Lounge locations if/when required.
