Styling Notes: Autumn Winter 21 Digital Runway Presentation

13 models, 18 looks, 21 pizzas and 7 hours spent filming: take a look behind the scenes at the making of our Autumn Winter 21 Digital Runway Presentation.

Models gather into formation for the final scene. If Rune's expression is anything to go by, this particular scene took a few takes to nail.

It was a balmy Sunday in early February when the announcement of a covid scare and impending level change sent waves through the Yu Mei team. We had spent months preparing a runway show to launch our Autumn Winter 21 collection for 200 guests, to be held in three days at City Gallery Wellington. This was not welcome news. In the mother of all pivots, our physical show was transformed into a Digital Runway Presentation for all to enjoy. Rather an impressive feat, if we do say so ourselves.

Below, watch the backstage video and enjoy a selection of the 4,000-odd images we took that day.
